About Us

Thank you for your interest in Bet Ami Congregation a 501(c)(3) organization. Bet Ami is a Hebrew term for “House of My People.” Our purpose is to glorify The Creator through teaching the Hebraic perspective. This information is here to give you a snapshot of our history, ministry and the heart of our congregation. Of course, not all your questions can be answered in this brief format, but perhaps you’ll gain enough information to take a closer look. We’re always ready to visit with you and answer your questions.

Our History

Bet Ami began as a home Bible study in 1979, which then grew to include Sunday services and a Friday night “Hebraic Outreach” to anyone that wanted to know more about the life of Yeshua (Jesus). Today, we are a vibrant Congregation worshipping on Sabbath afternoon at 2425 N Warren Ave, here in Oklahoma City.

Our Purpose

We believe the purpose of our Congregation is to glorify The Lord, and to teach others about Our Awesome Creator. We glorify Him by living biblically righteous lives. We desire people to experience the joy of knowing The Lord from the “Hebraic” perspective. We strive to emulate Our Master, Yeshua (Jesus), The Messiah.

Holy Scriptures

We affirm that the Hebrew Tanakh (Old Testament) is the authority for knowing The Lord’s will and purpose. We believe that through the combination of the Tanakh (“Old Testament”) and the Apostolic Scriptures (“New Testament”), that The Lord expresses His full counsel, His desire to forgive those who seek Him, and to bring all who would seek Him into a loving relationship with Himself.

Yeshua (Jesus)

We believe that Yeshua is The Messiah whose death atoned for the sins of the world. Through His death and resurrection, He brings peace to the damaged relationship between The Lord and mankind. We believe when The Messiah returns, He will bring peace to the world. Only The Lord knows for certain when that will be (Matt. 24:36).
